My Discoveries
Land of Million Memories!
It was one of the finest and unforgettable experience to be Iran. At the outset I have to state Iran is one of the safest place on earth with unparallel culture and beauty.
My journey is almost 6 months old now but is certainly an eye opener and my experiences can be a good guide for all those who wish to visit without any prejudices in mind.
I was the only Indian tourist and the entire Mahan Air flight had just few business travellers and Iranian students returning home. Great service, extremely warm crew and lovely tips from the Iranian returning home gave me hints on how this trip was going to be. But what I went thorough I could have never expected in any other country but Iran.
The love and affection showered on me by Iranians is simply amazing and unbelievable. Travelling from Kerman to Tehran in train..I was almost like a chief guest and people were happy to see a young Indian..and took care about my food..
In Esfahan..met a lovely family who gifted me souvenirs and took me sightseeing...In Yazd a young college student took me sightseeing and once on getting lost some locals not only helped me and took me out for dinner..
These are just some incidents..Iran is just special..
My trip started in Tehran and ended in Kerman..so much I have to write..but almost impossible task to convert the million memories of Iran into a travelogue..
I really hope to visit Iran again soon..really soon...
